Hey, Excellent! Looking forward to seeing more. Love the instant access of blogging. Just a thought, what would be interesting is the story behind the design, the brief or concept, the artist's thinking of the design. Take us on your journey.
Im quite impressed with what you have acheived, your inspiration and dedication really reflects on the final outcome, i really enjoyed the colors and contrasts, by the way love the peacock....
In here you will find updates on what I've been up too, pictures and video clips of my clothing designs, a thought for the day at the bottom of the page and plenty of comments to peruse.
I hope you enjoy the blog. Take your time, feel free to send me a message, and I'll catch up with you soon.
Hi, I'm new to blogging, but so far this is alot of fun.
I wont tell you alot about myself, but I am a fashion student and I am keen to share some of my designs and creations with you.
Last year, in my first year at Whanganui UCOL, I was mainly inspired by my pet peacocks. Their blue colours and feathers featured throughout my classes as I was able to incorporate their inspiration into; fabric choices, design and sewing projects and art works.
This year red has taken over. I've completed a tailored red woollen jacket and a red duplon silk dress is currently under construction. Red is a "cosy colour" and I guess a girl needs to feel warm in the winter.
Anyway, enough chat for now. I hope you enjoy my blog and will return to keep an eye on what I am up too.
